Barcelona fans react to Arturo Vidal's first start for the club v Boca Juniors

Arturo Vidal’s best years are now arguably behind him but the Chilean midfielder will be keen to prove that’s not the case following his surprise move to Barcelona.
The 31-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Catalan giants last week after deciding to leave Juventus earlier this summer.
"I've come here to bring a lot of energy on to the pitch. Joining Barça is a step up for me," Vidal told reporters after signing. "I will work hard to bring joy to the Barcelona fans."
Vidal has already won a trophy with Barcelona. He came on in the 86th minute for Ousmane Dembele, whose spectacular winning goal earned his side a 2-1 win over Sevilla in the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday night.
As he was only on the pitch for a matter of minutes, Barça fans didn’t get to see enough of their new summer signing to form an opinion.
However, Ernesto Valverde named the tough-tackling central midfielder in his starting line-up for Wednesday evening’s Juan Gamper Trophy clash against Boca Juniors at the Camp Nou.
Vidal was part of a strong starting XI, which also featured the likes of Gerard Pique, Philippe Coutinho and Lionel Messi.

Needless to say, Messi was the game’s standout performer. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner set up Malcom for the opening goal and then scored with a clever chip five minutes before half-time.
