A standing ovation by Juventus fans during last season Champions League clash made Ronaldo love the club, even more, the Portueses star has revealed.
Ronaldo scored a stunning overhead kick in Turin, in the first leg of Champions League tie and the home fans stood to applaud the five-time Ballon d'Or winner. That seems to have made the star love the Old Lady faithful more than before.
"I felt surprised at the beginning. I am used to following Juve and I like the club, but from that moment I liked them even more. I won't say it was the key point in my decision, but every detail helps. Maybe. Of course, it helps when you see the people like you, the supporters and club like you, the feeling is completely different." the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward admitted.
"Unbelievable. I remember every day, that never happened to me before. In the Champions League against Juve, a quarter-final, you score a goal and see everyone in the stadium applaud you. It was an unbelievable feeling," Ronaldo further said.
And now expecting to play for Juve after joining them, Ronaldo could be part of the squad that faces Chievo in the Seria A's opening game on August 8th.
