“Even if it’s only five APC Senators, I will impeach Bukola Saraki this week- Says Oshiomole

The National Chairman of he ruling All Progressive Congress,Adams Oshiomole has reacted over the statement made by the members of the People Democratic Party, PDP, that the ruling party cannot impeach Bukola Saraki and his Deputy Senate president Ike Ekweremadu.

According to the Constitution of Nigeria, it says a senate president can only be impeached by Two third majority of the how, that is 73 senators out of 109senators in the National Assembly.
However, Hinnews reported that Oshiomole in his twitter handle said

“Even if it’s only five APC Senators, I will impeach Bukola Saraki this week. He is not going to be the first senate president to be impeached and I doubt if he is going to be the last but definitely he will be impeached this week”
